vps.epas is committed to Switzerland’s three-pillar social security system. In particular, it advocates the diversity of the institutions involved, their independence and their autonomous self-governance. Through its practice-oriented publishing activities, written in an accessible and easy-to-understand language and independent of vested interests and political affiliations, vps.epas aims to contribute to a better understanding of the complex field of occupational pension provision and social insurance among as broad and diverse an audience as possible.
vps.epas publishes the monthly journal «Swiss Pension Provision» and the weekly newsletter «News». In addition, it operates the platform «Penso» and the e-paper «Fokus Pension Provision».
vps.epas organises topic-specific conferences and is actively involved in the training of pension fund trustees and professionals connected to occupational pension provision and social insurance. It also organises the annual 2nd Pillar Trade Fair together with the Pension Provision Symposium.
The shareholders are exclusively private individuals, many of whom are also active as editorial contributors or speakers. vps.epas therefore has access to a broad network of established specialists in occupational pension provision and social insurance who support its wide range of activities as authors, speakers or lecturers.
